Architectural Landscape Design Contractor is in the business of creating your perfect space, so that you can escape to it whenever possible, year round. We have a very simple process when it comes to building a homeowner’s private getaway, and it varies little from customer to customer.
First, we come and speak with you about what you want to accomplish with your space, and find out what thoughts they may have. There is no obligation, and the first consultation is free. It will only take about an hour, but will give you many ideas with which to select from in order to create your own perfect space. We will listen to your ideas and concerns, and then help you come up with a plan that will address all your goals. With years of experience behind us, we will be able to make suggestions that you may not have considered before, and learn new ways about how to make your space work harmoniously with the surroundings.
The next step is to visualize and fact find what your finished space will look like. There can be homeowner association requests; and State and local ordinances that might impact your design, so we will make sure that these are all addressed before any work begins. Then we will make sure you are comfortable with the budget. It is important to us that we not start a project that the customer is not comfortable with, because we don’t want unfinished business laying around, leaving the homeowner with mounds of mud left for months on end, all because someone didn’t foresee an expense that tilted the entire budget. We will always leave your space clear of debris, and mud so that if you elect to advance in stages, you will never have to live with an unfinished construction site.
Once we all have the green light to move further, ALD will then create a professional CAD image (computer aided drafting) that will allow you to highlight details within your blueprint, so that changes can be made before construction begins. This is always more cost effective, and reduces any potential stresses on both sides. Along with our CAD images, we will provide an informational guide that will help you see what your finished product will look like. This will explain the hardscapes you may have selected, as well as information about the plantings, and the kind of care they will need. It comes with color photos of your new look, and will help pull it all together for your review.
Step three involves the actual work to put your new vision into place. Our customer’s opinions are always welcome along the way, and as stated before, we always leave our sites clean, and well cared for, so that nothing will disrupt our plans.
Step four is our very valuable, continued support. We will protect your investment and be available for whatever you may encounter after the work is complete. We know how to make sure your plantings will survive their first year, and we can help you get the most out of your new space.
